Customizing A-Dock with A-Dock Control

The “Dock” pane :

This pane lets you setup the general behavior of the dock.

Automatic expansion/contraction

Here you can activate or deactivate the auto-expand and auto-collapse functions and set the delays for both of them.

Maximum tile size

These are the sizes of the buttons that hold icons in A-Dock.
When the dock becomes larger than the screen, A-Dock will decrease the tile size so that the dock will fit inside the screen, and thus all the icons will be visible. When the tile size has been decreased, A-Dock will revert to its max tile size when it detects the dock can fit inside the screen with this tile size.

Display tooltips

By default, tool-tips are enabled. If you disable them, they won't display anymore the name of the applications and won't give any feedback during drag&drop.

    User-level
The default mode is “Beginner”. In this mode, all the tool-tips are displayed. The mode “Normal” only disables the tool-tips that appear when the cursor is over the handle. The “Advanced” mode only displays application names, but doesn't give feedback during drap&drop.

    Font & size
You can also setup the font and size of the text displayed in tool-tips.
